​Kyle Brunel, AIA, LEED AP is the founding principal of the firm. Known for delivering value through inventive problem-solving, she has led numerous successful projects. After putting herself through architecture school, she began her West Coast career at M+W Zander, spent nine years with SmithGroup in San Francisco, and five years with DGA before launching her practice. Kyle designs environments where vision and performance thrive within their unique contexts. As an active maker, she explores the potential of architecture through painting and clay (www.kylebrunel.com), developing new connection systems and holding a patent pending for an invented functional sculptural piece.

She holds a BA from Clark University and a M.Arch from the Boston Architectural College and is a Leadership San Francisco alumna. Kyle has served on the boards of AIASF as Director at Large and Leap Arts.

Licensed in California, Massachusetts, Washington, and Washington, DC, she is also a Certified Green Rater. Kyle lives in San Francisco with her husband and two children.
