Kyle Brunel, AIA, LEED AP is our founding principal. Her focus on providing value and inspiration, combined with an inventive approach to problem solving has resulted in numerous successfully completed projects over the years. After putting herself through architecture school, she began her west coast career at M+W Zander, then settled down with the SmithGroup San Francisco office for 9 years and spent another 5 years with DGA prior to starting this practice. She provides clients projects that enable vision and performance to thrive within their unique environs. Next to Kyle's desk is an easel. She also works with clay to develop new connection systems for future constructs and has a patent pending for one of her recently invented functional sculpture pieces.
Kyle holds a BA from Clark University, a MArch from the Boston Architectural College, and is a Leadership San Francisco Alumna. She has served on the boards of AIASF and Leap Arts and currently serves as a Director at Large with the American Institute of Architects San Francisco Chapter. Kyle lives in San Francisco's Miraloma neighborhood with her husband JJ and 2 children, Cobalt and Cypris.
