Sheltering in Place
As we find ways to rejuvenate during the weekends and prepare for the work week ahead, we are, more and more, finding ways to create small shifts in our perspective. These shifts are wonderfully valuable as we continue to shelter in place. Trimming trees adjacent to one's residential building provides greater solar access to the interior during weekday working hours, a small move that creates high quality interior lighting as we continue to work from home. Pitching a tent and sleeping 1 or two nights in a tiny space provides a new found value to the bedroom at home that was previously feeling cramped. Cooking outside helps to appreciate the refinement of the stovetop and the wonderful breadth of one's oven. Walking outside in a park or open land provides access to the varying plant life that expresses itself in the spring and is an especially profound source of inspiration and joy right now.
